Denzel Washington will make his first visit to Israel.
Washington, an Academy Award-winning actor, is scheduled to visit the Jewish state as part of a delegation of African-American artists to include singer Natalie Cole and dancer Debbie Allen, Ynet reported Wednesday.
The visit, which will include meetings with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, President Shimon Peres and Israeli film students, is among the events leading up to Israel’s 60th birthday.
