Israeli forces killed three Palestinian gunmen and a civilian in the Gaza Strip.
Troops and tanks raided Rafah, in southern Gaza, early Sunday to clear foliage used by Palestinian terrorists as cover for rocket launches.
Palestinian gunmen attacked the Israeli force, wounding at least one soldier.
Three gunmen were killed in the ensuing clash, as well as a passerby, Palestinian witnesses and medical officials said.
