Israeli security forces announced the arrest of three leading Hamas terrorists in the West Bank.

The Shin Bet said Tuesday that, last May, an undercover operation in Nablus netted three members of the radical Islamist group as they were planning attacks on Israel.

According to the Shin Bet, the Hamas men were behind a foiled Palestinian suicide bombing in Tel Aviv last September.

In addition to routine counter-terrorist operations, Israel has recently stepped up pressure on Hamas in the West Bank, where Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has been trying to impose order after losing Gaza to the Islamists a year ago.
