Argentina’s president plans to condemn Iran at the U.N. General Assembly for failing to cooperate in an investigation into the AMIA attack.

The 1994 bombing on the Buenos Aires Jewish community center killed 85 people. Iran has resisted Interpol warrants for eight of its nationals, including a former president and senior officials, who are suspected in the case.

A spokesman for President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner says she will condemn Iran in her speech next week at the launch of the General Assembly session. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is also speaking at the G.A.

Officials representing Argentine Jewish groups and families of the victims will attend the G.A. in a sign of support for Kirchner.
