Political tidbits: Arab world not crazy about Hillary, Obama visits Jewish deli (UPDATED)

• James Jones, leading candidate to be Obama’s national security adviser, wants an international force on the West Bank, not the IDF, reports Aluf Benn in Haaretz.
• Norm Coleman is up by 180 votes in Minnesota, but Politico reports that Franken could prevail because Democrats are sloppier voters.
• Meanwhile, Nate Silver, at fivethirtyeight.com, uses some statistical analysis to predict that Franken will win by 27 votes.
• Joe Lieberman tells Tom Brokaw on Meet the Press that he regrets some of the things he said during the campaign but now wants to look forward. And asked whether he really thought Sarah Palin was more qualified than Joe Biden or himself to be VP, he says he’ll leave the "looking backward" to others.
• Some in the Arab world think Hillary Clinton will be too pro-Israel as secretary of state, reports the Washington Post.
• Reps. Nita Lowey and Steve Israel are among the names being thrown out as possible Hillary Clinton replacements in the Senate, according to the New York Times.
• Former Middle East negotiator Aaron David Miller tells Obama in the Jerusalem Post that he should concentrate on an Israeli-Syrian agreement because it may not be possible to achieve an Israeli-Palesitnian one.
