Breaking news: Bar Rafaeli to star in a long-awaited sequel of “A Stranger Among Us.”
Okay, that’s a total lie, but a photo of the Israeli model that’s gone viral in Israel might make you believe otherwise.
The image, which shows Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex decked out in super modest clothing (sheitel included), is just one of the shots of secular public figures turned religious that are making the digital rounds in the holy land, reports the Times of Israel.
Other subjects donning extra clothing and facial hair thanks to Photoshop include prominent news anchors and politicians like Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara. Equally compelling are the pictures of major religious figures such as Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef minus their beards and payot.
We couldn’t help but imagine what some of our favorite Jewish stars might look like if they moved from Hollywood to Borough Park. Our list of who we’d turn frum if we had the time and the wherewithall:
- All four girls on Girls (isn’t Allison Williams Jewish by proxy at this point?)
- Jonah Hill
- Tori Spelling
- Sandra Bernhard
- Woody Allen (Wait, scratch that. Been there, done that.)
- Jake Gyllenhaal (Also not that hard to envision, but would certainly be hilarious.)
