FEGS Staff

It is very disheartening to see how the suffering workers at FEGS have not
been brought to the front. (“Questions Loom In Wake Of FEGS’ Fall,” Feb. 6).

Many who have well over 20 years at the agency
are now facing a great hardship. For more than seven years they have not received a raise because they were
asked to sacrifice raises to help the agency and save fellow coworkers’ jobs.
But as you now see that was to no effect.

Last year a contract was forced on
the workers in the form of accept it or get nothing. The raise was peanuts.
Who will take up the trumpet for them?
