(JTA) — Two Staten Island teenagers were arrested in connection with a string of local paintball attacks, including one on an Orthodox Jewish man.

Andrew Larstanna, 17, and Nicholas Barranco, 18, were accused of carrying out four separate paintball attacks in the New York City borough on July 10 and 11, local media reported.

On July 10, a 67-year-old Orthodox man was hit in the shoulder by a paintball while walking with his wife and son. The incident was investigated as a possible hate crime by the New York Police Department.

None of the other victims were Jewish. No hate crime charges have been filed against the teens.

There have been no arrests in paintball shootings that occurred earlier this month and in March in Brooklyn.
