I’m very sad to read that Gary Rosenblatt will be stepping down as editor and publisher of The Jewish Week (“Jewish Week Editor To Step Down After 26 Years,” June 28). This is a huge loss for the paper and for Jewish journalism. It’s great that he will continue to contribute to The Jewish Week with his writing and in other ways. In particular, I want to note Mr. Rosenblatt’s courage and integrity in leading the newspaper’s long and continuing effort to expose sexual abuse and sexual harassment within the Jewish world.
With great respect and all my best wishes to Mr. Rosenblatt.
