100 Jews Injured in Anti-semitic Attack in Train

Anti-Semitic excesses occurred on the train for Vaszerheli to Galatz, according to a report in the ” Juedisches Volksblatt” of Munkacz.

Roumanian students attacked the Jewish passengers, using clubs and knives. Over one hundred Jews were injured, among them Leib Essler, Jacob Bercovic, Leibisch Elefant, Wolf Rotmann.
