The hope that Palestine will witness a rebirth of the Jewish nation in the spiritual as well as the physical sense was expressed at a banquet of the Mizrachi Organization of America Monday night at the Hotel Astor by Charles Edward Russell, president of the Pro-Palestine Federation.
The banquet was attended by 1,000 members of the organization, who heard a message read from President Roosevelt and enthusiastically greeted reading of the Mizrachi platform to the World Zionist Congress by Rabbi Wolf Gold, Mizrachi president.
