The S.S. Galila sailed for Israel today from Bari carrying 1,000 Jewish refugees from Austria. Earlier, it was reported that a group of 300 Israel-bound Jewish refugees from Tripoli, Shanghai and DP camps in Bari sailed aboard the S.S. Eilot for Haifa.
