It was announced today that 1,400 Jewish emigrants will go to Palestine this month, the majority of them under the new immigration schedule issued by the Palestine Government.
Official permission to hold a Palestine Week has been granted by the authorities. A conference of representatives of various Jewish communities in connection with the week has been prohibited.
