Fifteen thousand of Israel’s 50,000 skilled building workers have lost their jobs in Israel’s current economic slump, a meeting of the building workers union was told today, Hope was expressed at the meeting that many of the jobless workers would be reemployed when newly-funded public works programs go into operation.
