Rabbi Alexander Rosenberg, who has been assigned to act as religious liaison representative between the Army and the Jews in the American zone, told the JTA today that 1,800 Jows in Berlin who were converted to other religions during the Nazi regime have asked readmission to the Jewish faith. He estimated that about half would be readmitted.
