$2, 000, 000 Raised for U. J. A. at Dinner Honoring San Francisco Leader

More than $2,000,000 was raised for the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York this week-end at a dinner in honor of Benjamin H. Swig of San Francisco, prominent philanthropist and realtor.

The chief speaker at the dinner was Edward M. M. Warburg, former general chairman of the UJA, William Zeckendorf, head of a large New York realty concern, presented an illuminated scroll to the guest of honor. The citation expressed the “esteem, affection and admiration” of the men and women of the realty industry for Mr. Swig.
