Twenty thousand persons last night filled Madison Square Garden to capacity for the seventh annual Night of Stars, sponsored by the United Jewish Appeal, which presented a cast of 1,400, including numerous stars of every entertainment field. A 108-page United Palestine Appeal Yearbook, issued at the affair, contained messages of greeting from President Roosevelt, Governor Lehman, other officials and Zionist leaders.
