The 25-year-old Yeshiva Rabbi Soloman Kluger School on New York’s East Side has been closed for lack of funds and its 600 students have been told it will remain shut until funds are forthcoming. The 32 teachers, it is reported, have not been paid for almost 18 weeks. A financial campaign to raise the sum needed to reopen the institution is being planned.
The Yeshiva is free for the instruction of Orthodox Jewish children.
