280 U.S. and Canadian Students Fly to Israel to Work in Kibbutzim

Two groups comprising 280 American and Canadian college students loft by plane to Israel today and last night to spend a summer working in Kibbutzim and studying life in the country for eight weeks. They represent 50 colleges located in 25 states and three Canadian provinces.

On July 8, another younger group of American students 140 high school boys and girls, will emplane for a camping season at Kfar Hayarok, the Histadrut agricultural school north of Tel Aviv. All three groups are sponsored by Histadrut Student Tours, a project of the American Histadrut Cultural Exchange Institute.
