450 Jews to Be Fired from Rumanian Post Office

The Government will discharge from the post office 900 employes who are members of national minorities, it is reported today by Dimineata, Independent Progressive daily. Of this number about 450 are Jews, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, has been authoritatively informed.

The dismissals, according to Dimineata, will go into effect January 1, 1936. In accordance with the national labor law, which makes employment of eighty per cent Rumanian citizens in any enterprise obligatory, the vacated posts will be filled by Rumanian citizens.
