The sum of $500,000 for the establishment of the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovoth, Palestine, has been allocated jointly by the board of directors of the Palestine Foundation Fund and the Jewish National Fund of America, it was announced today. The allocation is to be transmitted in two equal amounts over a period of two years.
The national office of the Palestine Foundation Fund today also made public the text of a cable from Dr. Chaim Weizmann, World Zionist President now in Lugano, Switzerland, addressed to Dr. Emanuel Neumann, felicitating him upon his election as president of the Keren Hayesod in America.
