The Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America has contributed approximately $500,000 for the maintenance of its homes and training schools for refugee and Palestinian girls in the Holy land, the organization’s annual Eastern regional conference was told today by Mrs. Simcha Rabinowitz, secretary, who told of plans to expand the work. Other speakers at today’s opening sessions were Mrs. Abraham Shapiro, president; Mrs. Samuel Goldstein, vice-president, and Leon Gellman, president of Mizrachi. The conference, which will close tomorrow, is being attended by about 200 delegates from 50 chapters.
