530 Refugees Arrive in Palestine

A party of 530 Jewish refugees, most of them from Germany and Czechoslovakia, debarked here today. All of them entered Palestine legally with immigration permits issued before war began. They were 10 days en route. the party included 240 students. A refugee from Berlin described sufferings of the Jews there, adding that scarcity of food is causing general discontent among the capital’s population.
