60,000 ‘friends of Reich’ to Attend Bowl Rites

Sixty thousand members of the Friends of New Germany are expected to crowd into the Madison Square Garden Bowl tonight to pay honor to the memory of President von Hindenburg. As 600 policemen stand by, 1,000 uniformed members of the Ordnungstdienst or picked guard will take part in a torchlight procession.
