The National Jewish Welfare Board had arranged in advance for the shipment of large quantities of kosher food, prayer books and other religious articles to 650 military posts in this country and abroad, including Germany, France, England, North Africa, Alaska, Panama, the Philippines, Okinawa, Japan And Korea. Rosh Hashanah services will be conducted by a corps of 370 Jewish chaplains.
