More than 700 communities have already completed their 1934 campaigns for the United Jewish Appeal, it was announced yesterday by Harry L. Glucksman, chairman of the administrative committee.

Drives are in progress or in preparation in several smaller cities, Glucksman said, in a vigorous effort to have the largest number of communities possible participating in the welfare movement before 1934 ends.

Among the cities now in the midst of campaigns or making ready to launch them, he added, are Orlando, Fla.; Colorado Springs, Colo.; Chester, Pa.; Lorain, Ohio; Springfield, Ohio; Jackson, Mich., and Elgin, Ill.
