Seven hundred and forty-six refugee immigrants of all faiths were scheduled to arrive here tonight on the Marine Marlin from Bremerhaven. The majority of the passengers were Jews.

The United Service for New Americans provided corporate affidavits for 194 of them and the Joint Distribution Committee made immigration arrangements for them abroad as well as advancing passage costs to those with no American kin. One hundred and thirty-four arrived under HIAS auspices. The European-Jewish Children’s Aid, a ##USMA affiliate, will care for the 21 orphaned children among the immigrants, until cooperating agencies of all faiths place them in foster homes.
