$797,951 Spent on Polish Relief by Red Cross

The American Red Cross announced today that $797,951 has been expended for relief in Poland and for Polish refugees in other countries.

Individual gifts of 30 ambulances, in addition to 250 already purchased by the Red Cross, have been made, it was announced. Two of these came from employes of the Warner Bros., film producers, to add to 20 purchased by Harry Warner and family.

Two additional mercy ships, each carrying cargoes valued at $1,000,000 will begin loading in New York beginning June 25, it was announced yesterday. More than $4,000,000 has been appropriated for relief in France.
