A widespread appeal for funds will be made at about 600 orthodox synagogues in Greater New York Saturday evening, September 16, for the use of the Federation of Yeshivoth, a Jewish parochial school housing about 5,000 boys. The date which has been designated as Selicoth Night, will inaugurate the Jewish Penitential Season.
