The Berlin correspondent of the Algemeen Handelsblad reported today that 82 Jews in Vienna, including 36 women, had committed suicide in the past fortnight. The correspondent also said the second transport of Vienna Jews bound for the “Jewish reservation” in the Lublin area of Poland was supposed to consist of 2,000 men, but that only 1,400 reported at the railway station, the rest fleeing from Vienna.
