900 Immigrants, Most of Them from European Lands, Arrive in Israel

Nine hundred immigrants, most of them from European countries arrived in the port of Haifa today. Most of the arrivals were sent immediately after clearance to housing prepared for them in development areas.

Diplomats from ten countries stationed in Israel today visited Youth Aliyah institutions in a tour conducted by Moshe Kol, Mrs. Rose Halprin, Jewish Agency member, and Dr. Miriam Freind, president of Hadassal. Among the group were representatives of Asian and Western countries and Czechoslovakia.
