996 Jews from North Africa Arrive in Israel; Sent to Villages

A party of 996 North African Jews, including a large number of children and young people, arrived in Israel today aboard the S.S. Jerusalem. They were immediately sent to villages prepared for them in Galilee, the Jerusalem corridor and the new Lachish development area southwest of Jerusalem.
