A $25,000 check for hurricane relief was handed to President Bill Clinton in memory of Yitzhak Rabin. Clinton joined Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) and Dalia Rabin, the late Israeli prime minister’s daughter, at a Sept. 22 dinner in Washington to honor Morton Bahr, outgoing president of the Communications Workers of America, who long has been a supporter of Israel.
