A 30-year-old Jerusalem mother gave birth to a set of quadruplets last week without undergoing fertility treatments. The odds of such an event occurring are less than one in 512,000. Doctors had suggested that the Jewish woman, who already has six children, undergo embryonic reduction, but she refused for religious reasons.
