A ban on anti-Semitism, and free immigration of “all elements who will respect the argentine Constitution,” were included among the election planks of the anti-Peronist Democratic Union, at a mass meeting yesterday, which was attended by well over 100,000 people, despite efforts by Peronist thugs to fisrupt the demonstration.

Shortly before the Peronists opened fire on the meeting, killing four people and wounding others, a group of hoodlums invaded a Jewish shop and attacked the propriator. Police who arrived to investigate the assault arrested the Jew, in accordance with what has now become a familiar pattern.
