A bipartisan roster of 14 U.S. congressmen urged France to take the lead in making Hezbollah an E.U.-designated terrorist group. The letter, sent dec. 16 to French President Jacques Chirac, praised his government’s decision to ban Al-Manar, the Hezbollah-affiliated TV channel, for broadcasting anti-Semitic messages.
