A bomb exploded on the doorstep of the Russian Orthodox convent in Ein Kerem on the southern outskirts of Jerusalem today. There were no casualties but considerable damage to the building. Interior Minister Yosef Burg condemned today’s bombing. He ordered the inspector General of Police to set up a special investigating team. The bombing was the latest of a series of such incidents at Christian and Moselm religious sites in and around Jerusalem and the West Bank.
