A Czech woman who risked her life to save a Slovak Jewish boy at the Ravensbruck concentration camp was honored by Yad Vashem. Vera Bruzkova, a woman prisoner, was made a “Righteous Gentile” last Friday. She smuggled Arnost Rosenzweig to the Christian section of the camp and hid him there for two months until the camp was liberated in April 1945.
