The Anti-Defamation League today demanded a “complete public investigation” by the Board of Higher Education of New York City into the policies and procedures governing the administration of faculty at the City College of New York. The A.D.L. said it was “not prepared” to offer judgment in those cases where charges of racial and religious discrimination have been made against the college administration, but pointed out that “continued public controversy in these matters can serve to undermine the great reputation of New York City’s great educational institution.”
