A dispute between Israel and the Palestinian Authority over the release of Palestinian prisoners centers on some 30 inmates, Israel Radio reported Monday. The scheduled release of 151 Palestinian prisoners was delayed last week due to a dispute over the criteria Israel used for freeing prisoners. Israeli officials presented a compromise proposal Sunday night, which the Palestinians are expected to respond to in a meeting later this week.
