A $10,000 grant for the work of the Jewish Labor Committee has been voted by the executive council of the American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations, it was announced by the JLC here today.

This is the first time that the AFL-CIO has voted funds to subsidize the work of the Jewish Labor Committee. Leaders of the Committee here expressed gratification today with the grant, pointing out that the action constitutes AFL-CIO endorsement of the committee’s work on behalf of civil rights and against discrimination.
