A former head of Israel’s Shin Bet criticized aspects of Israel’s war on terrorism. Avraham Shalom told Israel’s Channel Two Television that while he supports Israel’s need to arrest terrorists, “there’s no reason to make people strip at a checkpoint and there’s no reason to stop an ambulance carrying a pregnant woman about to give birth.”
