A former Israeli lawmaker was sentenced to four months of community service for fraud. Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court handed down the sentence Monday against Yehiel Hazan, a former Knesset member from the Likud who was videotaped voting on behalf of an absent colleague on a 2003 budget resolution.
