A former Israeli secret service agent retired to pursue a new career — as a kindergarten teacher. Atid Maor, a 20-year veteran of the Shin Bet security service, recently quit and opened a kindergarten in Moshav Hadar-Am. “I always wanted to work with children, to educate, to change diapers, to fix them breakfast and read them stories,” Maor, 44, told Yediot Achronot on Wednesday.
