A free peace concert by rock star Bryan Adams to support a two-state solution has been canceled.

The One Voice concert, which was to take place Oct. 17 in Palestinian Jericho and Israeli Tel Aviv and also feature local artists, was called off after threats issued to Palestinian participants and audience members.

Some 600,000 people have signed an on-line petition sponsored by the New York-based One Voice organization that calls for a peace agreement to be reached within a year based on a two-state solution and a Palestinian capital in eastern Jerusalem.
