A French court dismissed an Israeli filmmaker’s lawsuit against a French Jewish philosopher. The European Jewish Press reported that Eyal Sivan sued Alain Finkielkraut for defamation after the intellectual criticized him for comparing Israeli treatment of the Palestinians to the Holocaust in his film “Route 181, Extracts From a Palestinian-Israeli Journey.”
