The National Democratic Party of Germany, which promotes anti-foreigner and anti-Semitic policies, purchased a former farm and hotel in rural Brandenburg for the purposes of creating an educational center, according to the Berlin Tagesspiegel newspaper. Many Germans have called for the party to be outlawed, but German laws designed to safeguard democracy make it extremely difficult to ban a political party.
