A high-ranking Egyptian envoy is being sent to Israel to prevent a further deterioration of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The envoy will warn Israel not to threaten Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat’s life and to stop firing missiles, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz.
