A housing firm attached to the Ministry of Development has withdrawn from competition with private contractors and will henceforth build subsidized low-cost housing for immigrants in new development areas, it was announced here today. The decision to limit “Shikun Ufituah” to immigrant housing was reached by a ministerial committee for economic affairs.
