A Jewish group helped sponsor a “street feast” to support striking workers at a Los Angeles hotel. More than 300 people showed up April 13 for a “Banquet in the Streets” outside the Century Plaza Hotel to support low-wage hotel workers who have been striking that hotel and eight others in the L.A. area in a months’-long contract battle.
